Description
The study of plants and other similar organisms such as bacteria, mosses, ferns, fungi, conifers, lichens, algae and flowering plants is known as Botany. As per scientist fungi, bacteria and algae has their own separate kingdoms, but most of the general courses in botany still comprises these groups. There are many parts of study for instance pale botany (the study of plant history through fossils), plant pathology (the study of diseases in plants), physiology (the study of plant cells and tissues), ecology (interactions of plants with other organisms and the environment) and Pteridology (the study of ferns).
