Biomedicine study comprises study on homeopathic, vitamins, amino acids, herbs, and other natural products which have been part of traditional medicine without any regulatory prescription or research. The program intends to focus on the drugs production in two stages. First stage focuses on how drug is developed developed from basic research to preclinical trials and the second stage requires approval to commercialize and the field testing. The course includes study on research and design of suitable in-vitro systems to deal with the aspects of the disease and the generation of genetically modified mice as disease models (transgenic, knockouts, kick-ins, and inducible systems). The course also covers GMP production, acute, chronic risk assessment and requirements of toxicological assessments. The course also imparts basic parameters of Clinical Pharmacology and on what basis parameters are assessed.
