Biomedical science is the study of the human body in health and disease and of laboratory procedures used to diagnose disease and monitor the effectiveness of any treatment. The course is designed to enable a student to develop, integrate and apply scientific knowledge, understanding and skills in the multidisciplinary investigation of human disease and disorder. The curriculum lets students to the latest developments in the field of Biomedical Sciences like Antibody Engineering, Applied Biotechnology, Cancer Biology, Genomics, Medical Transcription, Medical Genetics and Proteomics. The course also emphasizes basic, chemical, physical, mathematical sciences, computer applications and management principles.
